General Terms And Conditions

Please read carefully before submit the reservation.
Terms and conditions are on display in the car rental offices.

1. The renter undertakes to treat the vehicle carefully and properly. It is forbidden to use the vehicle for towing or as part of unlawful purposes. It is forbidden to alter the construction of the vehicle or enter it in motor sport trial or use it as a reconnaissance car of the racecourse, use it for testing purposes, or commercial transport.

2. The renter is required to deposit the total of estimated rental charges in an agreed method of payment. The deposit will be deducted from the grand total of the rental agreement. The rental charges are defined in the rental agreement using the reserved rate basis and/or the general rental rates used in Finland by the rental company.

3. Fuel is not included to the rates. Vehicles are delivered and should be returned with a full tank. In case of return without a full tank there will be a separate service charge as well as a charge for any missing fuel made by estimate.

4. The renter must have a minimum of one year's driving experience and must present a valid driver's license. Minimum renter's age for car groups A-C is 20 years and for other car groups 24 years.

5. The renter is responsible for maintenance of the vehicle during the rental, such as checking and adding of oil, level of radiator and battery liquid, checking tire pressures etc. These actions together with other servicing and repair caused by normal wear are attended to and paid by the rental company.

6. The rental company is not liable for direct or indirect loss or damage caused to the renter due to breakdown of the vehicle.

7. The vehicle may only be driven by the renter or with his consent, by his employees, a member of his family or colleagues or by other driver's specified in the rental contract. The renter is responsible for checking that the authorized driver has a valid drivers license and the renter must assume responsibility for the behavior of each driver in terms of the rental conditions.

8. In case of an accident the renter agrees to call the police to investigate the case. The renter is obliged to complete an accident report. The renter must contact the rental company without delay for further instructions.

9. The renter agrees to compensate any missing equipment or accessories to their full value. The renter is responsible for damages up to the maximum amount stated in the rental agreement, unless the insurance company of the other party pays for the damages.
The renter can waive the responsibility for the above-mentioned damages by paying the CDW, which must be duly registered in all the copies of this agreement at the commencement of the rental. Should the damages be caused by intent, gross negligence, reckless driving or obvious misuse of the vehicle or if the renter has been under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicants, the renter agrees to compensate all damages in full independent of the maximums mentioned in this agreement. The renter is obliged to pay the daily charges, listed on this agreement for the time the vehicle is out of use to damages, up to a maximum of 30 days.

10. Damages caused to the windshield, mirrors, headlamps, tyres, wheels and wheel caps are not covered by the CDW and the renter is responsible for damages caused in full.

11. The renter is also responsible for damages caused to the vehicle by another person.

12. The rental day consists of 24 hrs. The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location at the agreed date and time. Possible changes in place or date of return must be reported well in advance to the company. The company reserves a right to charge a reasonable compensation for cost incurred by renters omission to report such a charge. If the vehicle has not been returned and the company has not been contacted for extension of rental, the matter will be handed over to the police.

13. The renter is responsible for parking and traffic violations caused by the vehicle during the rental period. Any charge due to mentioned violations would be charged afterwards as well as a service Fee of  25, 25 €

14. The company reserves the right to terminate this contract during the rental and demand the return of the vehicle, if there is reason to doubt that the renter can not operate the vehicle correctly or that the renter does not intend to abide by stipulations of this contract. If the renter has given false information about him, the contract is terminated immediately and the matter is handed over to the police authorities.

15. It is strictly forbidden to take the rental car outside the Finnish border without a written permission from the rental company.

16. Disagreements arising from this agreement are to be solved in court nearest to the rental company.
